RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic students to join the W(r)ong group! Students will have the opportunity to participate in laboratory work and/or field measurements, use a variety of analytical techniques, and work on interdisciplinary projects that will improve our understanding of the atmospheric processes and their impacts.

Undergraduate Research

Undergraduates play a key role in our research efforts! If you're an undergraduate chemistry, biochemistry, data science student at MtA, the research can be done as part of CHEM4990/BIOC4990 (Honours Thesis), Independent Studies Course, or in the summer. Additional opportunities may be available. Email Jenny to discuss potential projects.

Graduate Research

If you're looking to pursue graduate studies in a small research group setting with direct and hands-on mentorship from Jenny, research in the group can also be completed as part of a Master of Science in Chemistry degree (more details here). Email Jenny to discuss potential projects, opportunities, and funding*.

*Note that the university website lists the minimum stipend; however, additional support is something the W(r)ong group actively strives to provide whenever possible, depending on project scope, available funding, and scholarship eligibility.
